Bright lights, cold city!

We rolled into the San Francisco early morning Saturday and fetched ourselves a cute little Jeep Cherokee to buzz around the tight, steep roads of the city. No matter how many times I have experienced  50 degrees, for some reason I have the inability to appropriately pack for the temperature! Once we parked at the KOA Petelume and headed across the (not so golden, but red) Golden Gate Bridge, of course the chill was on! Jonathan couldn’t wrap his mind around the fact that the bridge isn’t painted gold.  We checked into the Nikko Hotel and set off for the Wharf.  No Sea Lions could be found but lunch was great and the street performers entertaining.  Nick took a video for Dillon(we miss him)! After dinner we shopped a bit at Union Square and dined at the Sir Francis Drake.   Sunday will be an early morning to get stand-by Alcatraz Tickets.
